This is a video showing the use of carbon as a carbon slider for pantograph. Carbon slider are used in the contact points of train pantographs that supply electricity from the overhead wires to the cars. Compared to metallic slider, carbon slider reduce the wear and tear on the overhead wires and also reduces the vibration and noise.
